The blue sapphire is a royal blue colour, a strong blue that displays as blue (not dark blue) even in low light.
An unheated royal blue sapphire is rare. Rarer still in such a graceful setting.
Spanning 9mm by 8mm, the oval cut blue sapphire would have been sizeable on the finger if not for its setting. The three-stone line up is very suitable for larger stones. The tapered baguettes are excellent beside an oval cut gemstone.
