24k solid gold ring inspired by the coil rings of the Malay Archipelago empire.
A ring like this was dated between the 9th to 11th AD, of course brittle and timeworn.
We created this ring to revive the feeling of grand empires, but never glorifying them. The joy of an empire is only insofar as knowledge and art intersects.
This ring is made up of 3 thinner gold wires and trespassed by a continuous thicker ‘voyage’ wire for more than half the ring.
The making of this ring is a feat. Not least because the voyage wire is 18mm thick, but having to train the gold wire to journey symmetrically is a test of endurance, patience.
This ring is suitable for anyone who wants to map the mind to a life that journeys. Unlike the other twist rings we make, this ring is not minimalist in its style but somewhat grand. We will work the form to befit your ring size.
Enjoy this while our minds are youthful.
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks to complete your order. Each ring is built by hand, forged, not cast.
