Platinum diamond ring set with a 2.05ct VS1 fancy yellow diamond and accented with F/G princess cut diamonds weighing 1.1ctw.
The cushion cut fancy yellow diamond has strong blue fluorescence.
For the strong blue fluorescent yellow diamond, you will observe the yellow to be very vivid indoors, a quality some gem lovers seek to see the yellow profoundly. There is a ‘blue’ in the yellow, and it is this quality that shows the yellow to be ultra vivid, even in low light.
In fact when we photographed the ring, we note that the yellow is vivid and never faint.
The two side diamonds are set to display the brilliance of all three centrepiece diamonds. The profile of this ring is lovely, deliberate; you can gaze at all angles and see in full all three stones almost to a 100%.
The side diamonds, plus two diamonds set in a diamond-shaped bezel (underneath the yellow diamond and one on each side), all work to keep the yellow diamond above a certain eye line, raised on its own. You can see this in the photo of the ring at eye level, worn on the porcelain hand.
A band of sparse princess cut diamonds mark the shoulders on each side.
This is a very well designed platinum ring.
