8.3ct grossular garnet in a soft mint green.
A stone that does not surface often, the grossular garnet is of the tsavorite species and sought after usually for specific reasons.
Which is partially why we include the gem here – the stone’s underlying meaning in hope and regenerative energy.
The mint green of a GG is distinct from the brighter green in peridot, and perhaps it is this gentle, very natural and yet elusive green in Nature, that makes the soft palette of a GG so charming.
In this sense, the heart cut in this GG may be a winning cut 🙂
Jewellery wise, it is interesting to point out that the GG is one gem which will respond quite differently when set in yellow gold or white gold.
