Large Aquamarine Pendant & Antique Beaded Necklace

Large statement pendant necklace set with an unheated aquamarine weighing 78.95ct.

The aquamarine’s color is a soft Lagoon Blue, very much like the hue of top quality paraiba tourmalines.

The large stone is mounted in a ‘celestial’ carriage of yellow (22k) and white (18k), desert under lagoon strata.

We selected accent stones with alchemical imagination: brilliant moonstones and deep aquamarines, wind and wave riding above craggy orange zircon sands.

The main gem is a high lustre stone with a splendid cut, nothing should take away from it.

A pendant as such needs to wear with organic beads – all beads are antique glass of three blues, interspersed by ancient beads.

Noticed but not seen, the ‘Western’ touch to its ‘Eastern’ tale is the tubular ‘barricade’ at two sides, of high karat gold and aquamarine.

Whatever embellishments do not affect the stone’s amazing visual geometry but offer a polarity/primitivity to its dazzling cut.

Most aquamarine gems and crystals are heated, this is certified unheated.

Unheated aquamarines tend to be lighter in color, this one is considerably intense.

The stone is a trench of blue, cut to have one look from one end to the other with very personal views.

This pendant is designed to be ‘active’, to wear in more ways than one.

There are multi hoops to wear E-W or N-S. One can experiment with ways to wear.

Other than the bead necklaces, the pendant can be worn with a chain necklace or silk cord.
