Description
24k Solid Gold Puzzle Ring Mens
24k solid gold ring inspired by the coil rings of the Malay Archipelago empire.
This ring weighs at least 20g, even at its smallest size 6.
A ring like this was dated between the 9th to 11th AD, of course brittle and timeworn.
This ring is made up of 3 thinner gold wires and trespassed by a continuous thicker ‘voyage’ wire for more than half the ring.
The making of this ring is a feat.
Not least because the voyage wire is 18mm thick, but having to train the gold wire to journey symmetrically is a test of endurance.
We looked at this ring for a long time before we decided to make one available.
Our interpretation is different: we build the facade to rise from the finger, while keeping the ring flushed.
Unlike the other twist rings we make, this ring is not classical in the Western sense, but Eastern.
It will endear if you enjoy a distinct form in a ring, only knowing when you put this on.
(There are very few rings of distinct sensorial form, especially without stones.)
For anyone who wants a chunky epochal ring, the one ring to keep coming back to.
The thickness of such a ring will vary according to your ring size; we have experience to work its form with care.
The minimum facade of this ring, to look good, is set to be at least 8mm wide (the back slightly less).
